Work Services

Work Services includes supports provided to individuals with disabilities who work at ARC Industries under the agency’s Sheltered Workshop Certificate issued by the U.S. Department of Labor.

This program allows individuals with disabilities to perform actual work and earn a paycheck.Bucket Line The Work Services Program assists the individuals served in developing their work skills and work behaviors so they can eventually obtain and maintain competitive community employment. Evansville ARC’s QMRPs (Qualified Mental Retardation Professional) assist individuals with Person-Centered Planning to develop strategies to meet the individuals’ employment goals. The QMRPs also assist individuals to learn new jobs and increase their productivity.

Work Services also provides nursing services, medication administration, and personal assistance to individuals who have needs for these supports.

Evansville ARC’s Transportation Department provides transportation for individual to and from individuals' homes, ARC Industries, Day Services For Adults, as well as to ARC Industries' off-site work locations.
