Energize Your Home While Helping Evansville ARC

Energizing Indiana is providing free residential home energy assessments to lower energy bills, improve in-home air quality and increase your home’s value. This program is part of an initiative to lower energy consumption across Indiana, plus Evansville ARC is enrolled in the Community Outreach & Enrichment program, so for every home that enrolls through Evansville ARC, we receive $25!

The energy assessment may include energy saving measures, such as:

• Replacing traditional bulbs with efficient CFLs;
• Installing low-flow faucet aerators;
• Installing low-flow shower heads; and
• Water heater insulation wrap.

Once you enroll, a professional energy advisor will make an appointment with you to guide you step by step through the process to produce long-term, cost-effective energy savings by analyzing your energy use, recommending appropriate weatherization measures and facilitating the direct installation of specific low-cost energy-saving measures.

Eligibility requirements:

• Single-family homes, duplexes, triplexes, quadplexes or mobile homes, occupied by the owner

OR

• Non-owner occupied homes where occupants have the electric service in their name
• Homes 10 years or older
• Homes that have not had a utility-sponsored assessment in the last three years
