Presenter: Teri James, Case Coordinator for the Bureau of Developmental Disabilities 2:40 pm and 5:20 pm Vocational Rehabilitation Services A representative will discuss how Vocational Rehabilitation Services can assist people with disabilities in making informed career choices and utilizing available support services to prepare for, secure, retain or regain employment. Presenter: Cathy Pearce, Area Supervisor, Vocational Rehabilitation Services 3:20 pm and 6:00 pm Guardianship A local attorney will answer your questions about legal guardianships and protective proceedings under Indiana law. Learn about different types of guardianship, when it is required, how it is established, and how long it lasts. Presenter: Garvin Senn, Legal Aid 4:00 pm and 6:40 pm Social Security Administration A representative from the local Social Security office will present basic information about eligibility requirements and benefits under the Social Security Disability and Supplemental Security Income programs for children and young adults. An explanation of case management services and the intake process will be given.
