The qualified candidate will assist individuals with disabilities in achieving goals of increased independence, assist with daily living skills, planning and implementing agency and community based training programs. High School diploma or GED required. Experience with individuals with MR/DD or related population is preferred. A CNA, QMA or a Teacher’s Assistance background in special education is helpful. SCHOOL-TO-WORK TRANSITION EMPLOYMENT SPECIALIST: Full-time, 12-month position funded through a collaborative grant with EVSC and funding through IIDC. This person will be responsible for assisting individuals with disabilities in transitioning from the public school system into employment through a collaborative framework that implements evidence based practices and results in high quality outcomes. The hours for this position are 7:30am – 4:30pm, Monday through Friday (may require some evening/weekend work to assist with students who are working non-traditional hours). BEHAVIOR SUPPORT SPECIALIST II: This full-time position is responsible for providing assistance to persons served by developing and implementing behavior management plans in order to assist the client in acquiring more appropriate and socially accepted skills. Participates in team meetings, assess clients in various environments, travel is required. Need for flexible schedule and available for on-call duties. Candidates must possess strong time management skills and a Masters Degree in clinical psychology, school psychology or other applied health service area of psychology; special education; social work; or counseling. PROGRAM COORDINATOR: Monday - Friday, approximately 8:00 am – 5:00 pm at the Training Center. The qualified candidate will assist with all day to day aspects of the Day Service Program, including: maintaining records, conducting agency & department orientation, working with clients in small groups, one-on-one, assisting in job training, personal/vocational goals, and community integration and overseeing approximately 45 clients and eleven staff. The successful candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services, possess excellent verbal/written communication skills, flexibility, the ability to teach/train and work closely with families and outside agencies, and be able to regularly lift & move 50 pounds. HELP DESK/NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR: Full time position in the IT Department. Responsibilities include the installation and maintenance of computer connectivity and network systems; configuring, diagnosing, repairing, upgrading, and optimizing all Agency telephones; implementing recovery processes for re-establishing servers, databases, and operating systems; and resolving network/computer problems or issues for Evansville ARC and other contractual company users. Successful candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree in a computer science or related field or have equivalent work experience. Advanced certifications such as MCSE, MCSA, MCDBA, CCNA, and CCNP is a plus. Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, SQL, and/or VMware is required.
