Evansville ARC - Independent Lives for People with Disabilities

Annual Giving

Faces of ARCEvansville ARC’s Annual Fund Campaign consists of a yearly drive to solicit gifts from the public, businesses, staff and friends. The annual campaign provides critical funding for current operations of the organization not covered by governmental funding, fees, or other private support. Governmental funding is less than 40% of Evansville ARC’s budget, which is a significant decrease in the past 10 years.

Each year, Evansville ARC determines its greatest needs and the annual fund provides funding for the organization to continue providing these services to our community.

For the 2007/2008 fiscal year, Evansville ARC is seeking $175,000 in support for the annual fund. The funds will support the following areas:

  1. Child Life Center – inclusive day care for children 6 weeks to 6 years of age
  2. Connections For Life – provides volunteer and social activities in the community
  3. Day Services For Adults – assists in developing independent living skills
  4. Successful Transitions – works with students and families in planning for the future
  5. Other Critical Financial Needs

Remaining funds support our endowment, which was created to ensure that Evansville ARC would be able to provide vital services for many years to come.
