Accomplishments/Outcomes

• Initiated a plastic grinding and recycling operation that has diverted over 750,000 pounds of plastic from the landfill over the past 7 months and created 3 new jobs.
• Worked with a key customer to repackage a product that was scheduled to hit the shelves. ARC Industries ramped up to 3-shift, 6 days per week production to manually re-pack 286,000 items to meet the customer’s deadline requirements.
• Entered into a partnership with Green Tree Plastics to not only grind plastic for their operation, but to cut, assemble, and distribute their recycled plastic lumber and site amenities
• Initiated a window shade assembly work center to manufacture, sell, and distribute solar window shades in partnership with Saveu Shades. ARC Industries benefits as the sole manufacturer of this product for Saveu, in addition to having the opportunity to sell the product locally.
