Accreditations
Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) Evansville ARC is accredited in Community Integration, Organizational Employment Services, and Community Employment Services through the CARF accreditation organization. CARF accredited programs at Evansville ARC include Day Services For Adults, Connections For Life, Community Job Link, and ARC Industries - Work Services. A CARF-accredited organization shows commitment to continually improving its services. The CARF accreditation process promotes the highest standards of quality, and Evansville ARC's programs have received the highest level of accreditation since 1994. You can think of accreditation as a "seal of quality," indicating that an organization's services have been awarded because they have delivered positive results. Evansville ARC’s Child Life Center is honored to be accredited by the nation’s leading organization for early childhood professionals. The National Association for the Education of Young Children has a seal of approval which is regarded as the gold standard by parents, educators, and facilities. Only an estimated 8% of U.S. childcare centers and preschools have earned the accreditation. NAEYC created its accreditation program in 1985 to set professional standards for early childhood education, and to help families identify high-quality childcare and early education programs. The Child Life Center’s NAEYC Accreditation is a sign that we are a leader in a national effort to invest in high-quality early childhood education, and to help give all children a better start. ISO-9001:2008 Registered ARC Industries, a division of Evansville ARC, is an ISO-9001:2008 Registered company. ISO is the world’s largest standards developing organization. The purpose of ISO standards is to ensure desirable characteristics of products and services such as quality, safety, reliability, and efficiency are attained at an economical cost. Released in November 2008, the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) has introduced a revised set of standards with an entirely new look and feel: ISO 9001:2008. The goal of the new ISO 9001 standard is "to benefit all interested parties through sustained customer satisfaction." Companies are ISO Registered for a three-year period. |
