  • 34 – Number of people who have been employed for more than three years with support from the Community Job Link program and continue to receive follow along services from Evansville ARC
  • 40 – Percentage decrease in Evansville ARC’s medical costs during the past 4 years (our medical costs were approximately $324,000 less compared to costs in 2008). Evansville ARC implemented an on–site medical clinic and redesigned our employee benefits plan to achieve these results.
  • 44 – Percentage of children who exited the CLC preschool program and were originally identified as being “at–risk” for special education services who either needed no services or had a reduction of services upon entering kindergarten
  • 57 – The number of years Evansville ARC has been serving individuals with disabilities
  • 66 – Percentage of transition students who graduated from Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation high schools in 2011 and were receiving services provided by the Medicaid Waiver and/or Vocational Rehabilitation Services in 6 months or less of exiting school
  • 81 – Percentage increase in community job placements by Community Job Link during the past year
  • 97 – Percentage of individuals in the Day Services Program For Adults that increased their independence in daily life skills
  • 100 – Numbers of students served through Successful Transitions in 2011, which is an increase of 39 percent compared to three years ago
  • 6,559 – Hours of volunteer service provided by individuals in the Connections For Life program at more than 50 local not–for–profit organizations, which is an 18% increase from the prior year
  • 7, 057 – Hours of charity care provided to adults with disabilities attending Evansville ARC’s programs
  • 9,680 – Hours of employment support services provided by Community Job Link
  • $17,157 – The utility savings recognized in the first six months after completing a project to remove excess lighting and update the HVAC system of Evansville ARC’s Training Center. The project was completed in December 2010, and the organization experienced a 40% decrease in utility costs compared to the same time period in the prior year.
  • 80,897 – Miles of transportation services provided to individuals with disabilities by Evansville ARC
  • $140,100 – Value of time and service provided by those individuals with disabilities who volunteered through the Connections For Life program, when using the national volunteer rate of $21.36 (www.independentsector.org)
  • 195,000 – Hours of direct service provided to children at the CLC
  • $779,939 – Amount of wages paid to individuals with disabilities who are working at ARC Industries
  • 3,741,705 – Pounds of post industrial scrap plastic ground for reuse and kept out of landfills through a recycling program at ARC Industries
